Horatio’s Heroes’ 6th Annual Golf Tournament raised a record-breaking $43,650! For the first time, proceeds will be distributed to multiple local Connecticut causes in community development, health, education, and social services—thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, and supporters.
Horatio’s Heroes is proud to announce that this year’s Annual Golf Tournament held on May 20th raised an incredible $43,650, a record breaking total that marks the most successful fundraiser in the event’s history.
Now in its sixth year, and its second year under the Horatio’s Heroes nonprofit, the tournament brought together golfers, sponsors, and community members for a day of fun, philanthropy, and impact. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity and commitment of our community. Our mission has always been to make the world a little brighter, and this year’s turnout showed just how powerful that mission can be when people come together.
Expanding the Impact
In previous years, tournament proceeds supported a single cause. This year, Horatio’s Heroes announced a new approach: distributing funds to multiple local organizations across Connecticut. These causes will be chosen within the nonprofit’s core focus areas of community development, health, education, and social services.
To ensure the community has a voice in where the funds go, Horatio’s Heroes is inviting recommendations. Supporters can email local cause suggestions to horatiosheroes@gmail.com. Please send the organization name, a description of what their organization supports, and where the funds are needed within the organization.
