$7,000 Raised to Support Connecticut Teachers at Horatio’s Heroes 6th Annual Bike Run

Our 6th Annual Bike Run & BBQ raised $7,000—enough to clear 14 Connecticut teacher wishlists! We’re so grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, and community for making this event such a success.

The 6th Annual Horatio’s Heroes Bike Run & BBQ brought the community together for a day of riding, music, and celebration, raising an incredible $7,000 to support local teachers.


Thanks to the generosity of participants, sponsors, and supporters, Horatio’s Heroes was able to clear the classroom wishlists of 14 Connecticut teachers, ensuring they have the tools and supplies needed to create meaningful learning experiences for their students.

This event continues to remind us how powerful community can be and together we were able to directly impact classrooms across Connecticut and support the teachers who give so much every day.

The day wouldn’t have been the same without the dedication of our volunteers, including Cheryl Nardella and Donna M. Duncan, as well as the amazing live music from Bill and Brett Calabrese, which kept the celebration lively.
